Hey everyone, I just finished putting together the highlights from February 2015 Mexico Retreat and wanted to share it with you all – please watch the video below!! So many amazing moments with new friends – it has become an annual retreat to San Pancho, Nayarit, Mexico.
What is different this year is a focus on the RAW aspect. With a daily yoga/meditation practice each day we will still adventure and explore but nourish ourselves with the help of Chef Alex and his wife who will be on-location offering raw, gluten-free and all vegetarian options in addition to the regular full menu. The option is yours to cleanse and restore inside AND out!
We will additionally be doing a SEVA project as a group prior to the trip. The goal this year is to bring as many school supplies as possible to donate to Entreamigos Community Center in San Pancho. This community center’s founder Nicole Swedlow was personally acknowledged and thanked by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 2014 for her work.
“These individuals have been selected as representatives of the tens of thousands of people worldwide who quietly serve the disenfranchised and work to improve our communities through their personal efforts,” says Dick Grace, founder of Grace Family Vineyards and board chair of Wisdom in Action.
Our group will help contribute to these efforts by bringing extra schools supplies to be distributed at Entreamigos as well as spend an afternoon volunteering at the center assisting with their various recycling and education programs.
